Government Medical College, Manjeri offers an annual intake of 110 MBBS seats. Admission is strictly merit-based through the NEET-UG examination. Out of the total seats, 15% (17 seats) are filled through the All India Quota (AIQ) counseling conducted by MCC, and the remaining 85% (93 seats) are filled through the Kerala State Quota counseling by CEE Kerala.

The college was established in 2013 and is proudly affiliated with the Kerala University of Health Sciences (KUHS), Thrissur. It is fully recognized and approved by the National Medical Commission (NMC) to conduct undergraduate and postgraduate medical training.

Does GMC Manjeri offer any Postgraduate (MD/MS) courses?

Yes, in addition to the undergraduate MBBS program, GMC Manjeri offers postgraduate medical courses. Currently, it offers MD/MS programs in three specialties: MD Dermatology, Venereology & Leprosy, MS Otorhinolaryngology (ENT), and MS Ophthalmology. Admissions for these are based on NEET-PG scores
