Government Medical College, Rajanna Sircilla (GMC Rajanna Sircilla) is a state-run government medical college established in 2023 by the Government of Telangana under the Directorate of Medical Education (DME). It is the seventh government medical college approved in Telangana, announced by Finance and Health Minister Harish Rao Thanneeru as part of the state government's ambitious initiative to establish a government medical college in every district of Telangana. The college received NMC approval with 100 MBBS seats and commenced its inaugural academic session in 2023-24. Located near Kasturba Girls School, Peddur, Rajanna Sircilla – 505301, on a well-planned 25-acre campus in northern Telangana, GMC Rajanna Sircilla is strategically positioned to address the healthcare and medical education needs of the predominantly rural and semi-urban population of Rajanna Sircilla district. Affiliated to Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS), Warangal, the college is staffed as per NMC norms with qualified professors, associate professors, assistant professors, lab technicians, and medical officers across all Pre-Clinical, Para-Clinical, and Clinical departments. The attached Government General Hospital (GGH), Sircilla, serves as the teaching hospital, providing 24/7 emergency and OPD/IPD services and clinical exposure across all major specialties.

10+2 PCB & English; 50% aggregate (40% SC/ST); NEET UG qualified; age ≥17 years by 31 Dec; Telangana local/domicile status required for 85% state quota

Admission Process

State Quota (85%): Step 1: Qualify NEET UG. Step 2: Register on KNRUHS official counselling portal (knruhs.telangana.gov.in). Step 3: Upload required documents and fill college preferences. Step 4: Seat allotment in Round 1 → Round 2 → Supplementary/Mop-Up rounds. Step 5: Report to college within specified dates with all original documents. All India Quota (15%): Step 1: Register on MCC portal (mcc.nic.in). Step 2: Pay registration and security deposit fees. Step 3: Fill choices. Step 4: Seat allotment. Step 5: Pay college fees and report. OBC certificate must be from Telangana state government only. PWD/PH certificate from MCC-authorised medical board for current year. Candidates wishing to upgrade in Round 2 while retaining Round 1 seat must report physically at allotted institute.

Important Notice

Compulsory rural/government service bond required post-MBBS. EWS certificate must be issued by Tahsildar of Telangana for the current year. Minority certificate required if applicable. Two sets of all certificates and bonds must be submitted. Processing charge deducted if candidate slides to another college in subsequent rounds.
