NEET PG / NEXT

Eligibility Criteria
MBBS from NMC-recognized institution; NEET-PG / NEXT qualified; valid internship completion certificate; registration with State Medical Council or MCI/NMC
Admission Process
50% All India Quota via MCC PG counselling (mcc.nic.in). 50% Gujarat State Quota via ACPPGMEC state counselling. Online registration, document verification, and multi-round seat allotment. State domicile candidates must fulfill Gujarat residency/MBBS criteria for State Quota eligibility.

Important Notice

PG monthly stipend paid to residents as per Gujarat state government norms. EWS seats increased in PG as per NMC letter (available on official website). Super-Specialization (M.Ch.) admission also via NEET-SS / NEXT-SS.

NEET UG

Eligibility Criteria
10+2 with PCB and English; minimum 50% (General/EWS/OBC) or 40% (SC/ST/PH) aggregate in PCB; NEET-UG qualified; age 17+ as on 31st December of admission year
Admission Process
Step 1: Qualify NEET-UG. Step 2: For Gujarat State Quota (85% – 213 seats) – Register on ACPUGMEC portal (medadmgujarat.org), obtain PIN (Rs.1,000 non-refundable + Rs.10,000 refundable security deposit), upload documents and attend document verification at a designated Help Centre. Step 3: For AIQ (15% – 37 seats) – Register on MCC portal (mcc.nic.in). Step 4: Submit choice filling online. Step 5: Participate in multiple seat allotment rounds (Round 1, Round 2, Mop-Up, Stray Vacancy). Step 6: Report to GMC Surat with required documents, pay fees and execute compulsory service bond to complete admission. 10% of Government Quota PG seats in select specialties are reserved for in-service doctors of Gujarat State.

Important Notice

No management quota. No NRI quota. Government medical college — all admissions 100% merit-based through NEET-UG. Compulsory service bond of Rs.20,00,000 (Rs.20 Lakhs) must be executed at time of MBBS admission. 10% of PG Government Quota seats in select subjects (Paediatrics, TB & Chest, OBG, Community Medicine, Orthopaedics, General Surgery, General Medicine, Anaesthesiology, Radiology, Pathology) are reserved for in-service doctors of Gujarat State.
