Government Medical College, Yadadri (GMC Yadadri) is the newest government medical college in Telangana, established in Academic Year 2024-25 by the Government of Telangana as part of the Union Health Ministry's approved expansion of government medical education in the state. Located at Pagidipally village, Bhongiri Mandal, Yadadri Bhuvanagiri District — on the Hyderabad–Hanamkonda Highway, approximately 50 km from Hyderabad city — the college sits near the famous Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Devasthanam at Yadadri, one of the most revered pilgrimage sites in Telangana. Affiliated with Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS), Warangal, and recognised by NMC, GMC Yadadri offers 50 MBBS seats annually — the smallest intake among current Telangana GMCs — enabling individual attention for each student.
