The BAMS programme at GAMCH & RC runs for 5.5 years, comprising 4.5 years of academic training across four professional years followed by a 1-year compulsory rotating internship at the attached hospital. The curriculum covers the complete breadth of Ayurvedic classical knowledge alongside modern medicine foundations — from Padartha Vigyana, Sanskrit, Rachana Sharir, and Kriya Sharir in the first professional year through Dravyaguna, Roga Nidana, and Ras Shastra in the second, and Agadatantra, Swasthavritta, Prasuti Tantra, Kayachikitsa, Panchakarma, Shalya Tantra, and Shalakya Tantra in the third and fourth professional years.
