The cost of studying at the Kochi Campus of IIM Kozhikode depends on the programme. The Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS) has a programme fee of INR 7,00,000 for each of the four years for the 2026-27 batch (BMS-02), according to the fee structure notice dated 18 July 2026 issued by the Office of the Dean (Programmes). The MBA for Working Executives has a programme fee of INR 16,00,000 for the Evening cohort, which attends online, and INR 13,50,000 for the Weekend cohort, which attends face to face, payable in seven instalments.

The BMS fee is paid in two instalments each year: INR 4,00,000 in the odd semesters and INR 3,00,000 in the even semesters. In addition to the programme fee, a refundable caution deposit of INR 25,000 and a Students Welfare Fund of INR 2,000 are payable at the time of admission, and hostel and mess fees are extra. For the executive MBA, a refundable caution deposit of INR 10,000, an alumni membership fee of INR 10,000 and a Student Welfare Fund of INR 2,000 are payable in addition to the programme fee.

Education Loans and Financial Support

The institute states that, as an internationally reputed institution set up by the Government of India, its students are unlikely to face difficulty in obtaining an education loan, although the process and documents depend on the bank. IIMK supports students in making the necessary documents available. IIMK also lists scholarships on its Student Affairs section, which cover merit-based awards, need-based assistance and government schemes for categories such as SC, ST, minority and PwD students. The applicability of each scheme to the BMS and to the executive MBA should be confirmed with the institute before relying on it for fee planning.

Candidates who withdraw before the date and time given in the withdrawal procedure on the admission portal receive a refund after the deduction of processing charges according to Government of India orders. The offer acceptance fee and the other dates are shared in the offer letter, and an offer is automatically withdrawn if the acceptance and payment are not completed before the deadline.

Families should work out the full cost, including the hostel and mess charges if the student is from another city, and should compare the BMS with other undergraduate management programmes. The total BMS programme fee for four years is INR 28,00,000, and with the refundable deposit and welfare fund the amount payable to the institute comes to INR 28,27,000.
