COAP (Common Offer Acceptance Portal) counselling. GATE cutoff 2025 for General category: 211–777.

10+2 with PCM; 75% aggregate (65% reserved/PwD); valid JEE Advanced score

JoSAA counselling. Integrated M.Tech in Applied Geology and Applied Geophysics offered as unique 5-year programs.

10+2 with PCM; 75% aggregate (65% reserved/PwD); must qualify JEE Main first

Online counselling via JoSAA after JEE Advanced result. Top 10 admitted students with JEE CRL ≤ 1000 receive full tuition fee waiver.

Bachelor's degree with minimum 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PwD); valid CAT score

Shortlisting based on CAT score (35% weightage). Personal Interview conducted at multiple cities (Delhi, Chennai, Dhanbad). Final selection considers CAT score, PI, academic record, and work experience.

M.Tech/M.Sc/MBA with minimum 55–60% marks; valid national fellowship or IIT (ISM) written test
