Admission to the PGDM, PGDM-IB and PGDM-RM programmes is entrance-based and handled directly by the institute. Applicants need a bachelor's degree of at least three years in any discipline with a minimum 50% aggregate, together with a valid score in CAT, XAT, CMAT, MAT, ATMA or GMAT; final-year students may apply provisionally. Required Entrance Exams

CAT / XAT / CMAT / MAT / ATMA / GMAT for PGDM, PGDM-IB and PGDM-RM; IPU CET followed by CUET for BBA, BCA and B.A. (Hons.) Economics; NIMCET, then IPU CET, then CUET for MCA; Research Aptitude Test for FPM.

Eligibility Criteria

PGDM family: Bachelor's degree (10+2+3) in any discipline with a minimum 50% aggregate plus a valid entrance score; final-year students may apply provisionally. UG programmes: 10+2 with a minimum 50% aggregate and English as a subject (BCA additionally requires Mathematics or Computer Science). MCA: BCA/B.Sc. (CS or IT)/B.Voc. (Software Development) or a 3-year Bachelor's degree with Mathematics/Business Statistics/Operations Research, minimum 50% (45% reserved). FPM: Master's degree with First Class.

Admission Process

PGDM: apply online at the JIMS admissions portal with a valid entrance score, shortlisting, then Essay Writing, Group Discussion and Personal Interview at the campus, followed by final selection on a composite score. GGSIPU programmes (BBA, BCA, BA Economics, MCA) are filled through centralised GGSIPU counselling after IPU CET / CUET / NIMCET. FPM admissions are held twice a year, with sessions commencing in January and July.

Official cut-offs published in the AICTE Mandatory Disclosure (as on 30 June 2026) and held steady across 2023-24, 2024-25 and 2025-26: CAT 75 percentile, MAT 580 composite score, XAT 60 percentile, ATMA 60 percentile, CMAT 70 percentile. There is no test-wise seat quota - the criteria are framed to give candidates from any stream and any test an equal opportunity. The PGDM is a standalone AICTE-approved diploma, not affiliated to any university, and carries AIU MBA equivalence.

Admission Process at JIMS Rohini

The cut-offs published in the institute's AICTE Mandatory Disclosure have held steady across the 2023-24, 2024-25 and 2025-26 cycles and apply identically to all three PGDM programmes: 75 percentile in CAT, a 580 composite score in MAT, 60 percentile in XAT, 60 percentile in ATMA and 70 percentile in CMAT. The institute operates no test-wise seat quota, stating that its criteria are framed to give candidates from any stream and any test an equal opportunity. The academic session begins in July, and the last date for closing admissions follows AICTE norms, with refunds processed under AICTE rules.

Admission to the GGSIPU-affiliated programmes follows a different route. BBA, BCA and B.A. (Hons.) Economics are filled through centralised GGSIPU counselling on the merit of IPU CET, with any seats remaining after the CET merit list drawn from the CUET merit list. MCA admissions run first on NIMCET merit, then IPU CET, then CUET for any residual seats. The FPM follows its own cycle, with admissions made twice a year and sessions commencing in January and July, selecting on a Research Aptitude Test, Personal Interview, academic and work-experience record, and a research proposal of roughly 5,000 words.
