Jagran College of Arts, Science and Commerce (JCASC), Kanpur, is a private self-financed college established in 2006 under the aegis of Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University (CSJMU), Kanpur, and run by the Jagran Education Foundation of the Jagran Group. It holds the distinction of being the first English-medium college of higher education in Kanpur to be recognised under Sections 2F and 12B of the UGC Act, 1956. The college began in 2006 with just 50 students enrolled in BA and B.Com programmes and has since expanded to around 3,300 students across seven programme areas spanning Arts, Science, Commerce, Computer Applications and Management.
