Jain AGM Ayurveda Medical College & Hospital offers a single flagship programme: the Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS). This focused, single-stream academic identity is deliberately different from multi-discipline private colleges โ the institution exists specifically to propagate Ayurvedic medicine and directs all its academic infrastructure, faculty recruitment, clinical training, and institutional culture exclusively toward this goal. For students who have made a clear commitment to Ayurvedic medicine as their career path, this focused environment has meaningful advantages over a larger college where the BAMS programme is one offering among many.
Jain AGM Ayurveda Medical College & Hospital offers students courses in different areas. Candidates can enroll in UG programmes based on their interests and career goals. Admissions are offered based on merit or entrance exam performance. Check below the Jain AGM Ayurveda Medical College & Hospital courses along with their tuition fees and eligibility criteria:

Courses at Jain AGM: A Single-Discipline Focus on Ayurvedic Medicine
B.A.M.S. (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery)
The BAMS programme at Jain AGM runs for 5.5 years, structured across three professional years of 18 months each, followed by a mandatory 1-year rotating internship. The three professional years cover the full breadth of classical Ayurvedic knowledge alongside integrated modern medicine foundations โ from Padartha Vigyana and Sanskrit in the first professional year, through Kriya Sharir and Dravyaguna in the second, to clinical departments including Kayachikitsa, Shalya Tantra, and Prasuti Tantra in the final professional year. The internship rotation exposes students to all major OPDs and IPD wards of the attached hospital, building practical competency before students are eligible to register with the Karnataka Ayurvedic Practitioners Association and begin independent practice or postgraduate studies.
Admission to the BAMS programme requires a valid NEET-UG score, 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as core subjects, and a minimum aggregate of 50% marks (with standard relaxation for reserved categories). The programme's 60-seat annual intake is managed through a combination of state counselling (KEA), All India Quota counselling (AACCC), and management quota seats.
