Jain AGM Ayurveda Medical College & Hospital was established in 2016 by the S. D. M. Jainmatt Trust (R), an organisation dedicated to rural welfare and quality healthcare education in Karnataka.

The college offers the Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS), a 5.5-year undergraduate programme (including a 1-year compulsory internship) with an intake of 60 seats per year.

The college is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS), Bangalore, and is approved by the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM) and the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India.

Candidates must have completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) as core subjects with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks. A valid NEET-UG score is mandatory. Reserved category candidates may have relaxed percentage criteria as per government norms.
