One of the finest university sports complexes in India by university standards. Features a full-size cricket ground (has hosted Ranji Trophy matches including semi-finals and finals), tennis courts, basketball, volleyball, football, and rugby courts (official Commonwealth Games 2010 rugby practice venue). Indoor facilities: table tennis, badminton, and a synthetic athletics track. Managed by the parent Jamia Millia Islamia University.

An Indian Air Force MiG-23 supersonic jet fighter aircraft, gifted by the IAF in 2010, is permanently displayed in front of the FET faculty building. One of the very few engineering colleges in India to have a real fighter aircraft on campus. A major landmark and symbol of FET JMI's aerospace engineering identity.

FET JMI houses 130+ faculty members engaged in active research. State-of-the-art labs in Smart Grid, Deep Learning and AI, Advanced Manufacturing, Smart Materials, VLSI Design, 5G Communications, Environmental Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, and Earthquake Engineering. Research funded by DST, DRDO, CSIR, DBT, and industry partnerships. JMI h-index: 129.

Multiple canteens on the JMI campus near FET providing affordable meals, snacks, and beverages. The campus is known for its food diversity — with both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options reflecting the multicultural student community. Mess facilities available for hostel students at Rs. 30,000/6 months.

JMI's Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CIE) functions under FET and provides support for startup development, product innovation, and entrepreneurial activities. Hosts workshops, hackathons, incubation support, and industry mentorship for FET engineering students. Works alongside the Entrepreneurship Club and Enactus Club.

JMI University Health Centre provides primary and emergency medical care to students and staff. Doctors available during university hours. Referral to JMI's partner hospital (Hamdard University Hospital nearby) and AIIMS New Delhi for specialized treatment. Ambulance facility for emergencies.
