About Jiwaji University, Gwalior
Jiwaji University, Gwalior is a state university of Madhya Pradesh that came into existence on May 23, 1964 through M.P. Government Ordinance No. 15 of 1963. The foundation stone was laid on December 11, 1964 by Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, the then President of India, on a campus of more than 225 acres at the Naulakha Parade ground. According to the official website, the university is NAAC accredited with the A++ grade and acts as the affiliating body for around 420 colleges.
