Foundation stone laid by PM Dr. Manmohan Singh on 25 August 2008; hospital wing inaugurated by CM Tarun Gogoi on 12 October 2009. Located at Swahid Kushal Konwar Path (NH-37), Barbheta, Jorhat – 785001. Affiliated with SSUHS; NMC recognized. 125 MBBS seats. 94 PG seats in 19 departments (MD/MS). Also offers ANM, GNM Nursing, and Paramedical courses. 207 teaching faculty, 556 non-teaching staff. Hospital: 964 total beds (including 163 ICU beds in 9 specialized ICUs: MICU, SICU, RICU, ICCU, SNCU, ITU, HDU, PICU, Neuro ICU). 1,200+ OPD daily.
