JSSMC is a Deemed University constituent college. 100% of MBBS seats filled through MCC (Medical Counselling Committee) Deemed University All India counselling — open to candidates from all India. KEA Karnataka state quota counselling also applicable for a portion of seats. MCC conducts 4–5 rounds: Round 1, Round 2, Round 3 (Mop-Up), Stray Vacancy, Special Stray Vacancy. Counselling conducted by Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) / MCC at mcc.nic.in. No direct admission. NEET score of 450+ marks typically required for management quota.
