KLS Gogte Institute of Technology, Belagavi - Overview

The institute offers undergraduate engineering degrees in Computer Science and Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning), Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Aeronautical Engineering. Alongside these, it runs a five-year Bachelor of Architecture, a Bachelor of Design, a B.Sc (Hons) programme, postgraduate M.Tech, MBA and MCA courses, doctoral research programmes and diploma programmes. Admission to the B.E. programmes is through the Karnataka Examinations Authority counselling based on KCET ranks and through COMEDK UGET counselling, while architecture and design seats follow their own eligibility rules. Placements are a major strength. The placement cell reports a highest package of 51 LPA, a placement rate of around 80 percent and more than 100 recruiting companies, with names such as Intel, Texas Instruments, Infosys, TCS, Wipro, Bosch, Accenture, Amazon, Google and Mercedes associated with the campus.
