Late Shri Lakhi Ram Agrawal Memorial Government Medical College, Raigarh (GMC Raigarh) is a government medical college established in September 2013, named after Late Shri Lakhi Ram Agrawal, a prominent politician and public figure from the Raigarh region of Chhattisgarh. It is managed by the Department of Medical Education, Government of Chhattisgarh, affiliated with Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay Memorial Health Sciences and Ayush University, Raipur, and recognised by the National Medical Commission (NMC). The college offers MBBS (100 seats) and postgraduate MD/MS programmes (21 seats across 8 disciplines) including 2 seats for MS Otorhinolaryngology and 1 seat for MD Psychiatry. Total student enrolment is 260 with 92 dedicated faculty members. The campus spans over 41 acres with state-of-the-art infrastructure. The academic block features spacious classrooms, lecture halls, examination halls, demonstration rooms, fully equipped clinical laboratories, departmental museums, and an auditorium. The central library and information centre has a large collection of Indian and foreign journals with separate reading spaces for students and teaching staff, along with a digital library.
