BAMS Programme Structure

The BAMS programme spans four professional years followed by a one-year compulsory rotatory internship. The NCISM CBDC curriculum covers Sanskrit Samhita Siddhant, Rachana Sharir (Anatomy), Kriya Sharir (Physiology), Dravyaguna Vigyana (Materia Medica), Rasashastra & Bhaishajya Kalpana (Pharmaceutics), Roga Nidan & Vikriti Vigyan (Pathology), Swasthavritta & Yoga (Preventive Medicine), Agad Tantra & Vidhi Vaidyaka (Toxicology & Forensics), Prasuti Tantra & Stri Roga (Gynaecology & Obstetrics), Kaumarbhritya (Paediatrics), Kayachikitsa (Internal Medicine), Panchakarma, Shalya Tantra (Surgery), and Shalakya Tantra (ENT & Ophthalmology).

Eligibility for BAMS Admission

Candidates must have completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in PCB for the General category, with relaxation for reserved categories as per Maharashtra state norms.
