Maharaja Agrasen Medical College (MAMC), Agroha is a reputed semi-government (government-aided) medical college established in 2002 by the Maharaja Agrasen Medical Education & Scientific Research Society — a non-profit society founded on 18 April 1988 by late Shri Om Prakash Jindal, with Smt. Savitri Jindal as current president. Named after the legendary king Maharaja Agrasen whose ancient capital was Agroha, it is the first medical college in his name, located on NH-9 near Agroha Dham, Hisar district, Haryana. The college is affiliated with Pt. B.D. Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak and recognised by the National Medical Commission (NMC). It admits 100 MBBS students annually and 22 students across 11 PG (MD/MS) disciplines. It is not a fully government college, but enjoys government-aided status which means its fee is regulated at ₹1,80,000/year – much lower than fully private medical colleges.
Yes. Separate hostel facilities for boys (52 rooms) and girls (42 rooms). 100 rooms for interns and residents, 120 rooms for nursing staff, and 24 faculty houses. Mess available. 24×7 security.
Yes. A tripartite bond of ₹32,80,000 must be signed at time of admission (between candidate, bank, and Government of Haryana). This bond is implemented only if the candidate does not opt for government service after MBBS. No bond money is paid at admission. Moratorium available for PG pursuing candidates.
