MIMS is a 100% merit-oriented pure government institution with NO Management or NRI quota. MBBS: 85% via KEA (Karnataka State Quota) — Karnataka domicile required; 15% via MCC (All India Quota) — open to all India candidates. KEA conducts 4 rounds: Round 1, Round 2, Mop-Up, and Stray Vacancy. During NEET 2021–2024 combined, 7 candidates received AIQ allotment at MIMS — indicating very high AIQ preference/demand with limited AIQ seats. PG (MD/MS): 50% via MCC AIQ; 50% via KEA Karnataka State Quota.
