BAMS admissions are fully NEET-UG based: 15% AIQ seats (9 seats) via AACCC at aaccc.gov.in; 85% state-share seats (51 seats, split into 42 CAP/Government-quota and 9 Institutional Quota seats) via the Maharashtra State CET Cell AYUSH counselling at cetcell.mahacet.org. Reserved-category candidates (SC/ST/NT-DT-VJ/SBC) must submit a current, valid Non-Creamy-Layer (NCL) certificate at document verification to retain fee benefits and category status; failure to do so results in the seat defaulting to Open category. Category-wise Demand Drafts for Tuition and Development Fees must be made in the name of 'P V Belhekar Ayurved Medical College', payable at Newasa, while the Hostel & Mess Demand Draft is made separately in the name of 'Dnyaneshwar Hostel'. Full fee structure and document checklist are published under the FRA 2025-2026 section at pvbcoayurved.com.

Admission Process Overview

Below is the complete admission information including eligible exams, eligibility criteria, admission process, and important notes for each program offered.

Required Entrance Exams

NEET UG

Eligibility Criteria
Pass in 10+2 / HSC with PCB and English; minimum 50% aggregate in PCB for General/OBC/EWS category candidates (relaxed for SC/ST/NT-DT-VJ/SBC/PWD as per Maharashtra CET Cell and NCISM norms); valid NEET-UG qualifying score; minimum age 17 years by December 31 of admission year
Admission Process
BAMS admissions at PVBAMC are NEET-UG based: 15% seats (9 seats) All India Quota through AACCC AYUSH UG counselling at aaccc.gov.in; the remaining 85% (51 seats) are administered by the Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell (State CET Cell) at cetcell.mahacet.org, and are further split per the college's official Demand Draft structure into 42 CAP/Government-quota seats and 9 Institutional Quota seats. Category-wise fees vary substantially — from a Development-Fee-only INR 16,000 per annum for mandatorily-freeship SC/ST/NT-DT-VJ/SBC candidates up to INR 5,28,000 per annum for Institutional Quota seats — so candidates should confirm their applicable category fee before reporting. Reserved-category candidates must submit a valid, current Non-Creamy-Layer (NCL) certificate at document verification; failure to do so results in the seat being treated as Open category. A full document checklist and current Fee Structure are published at pvbcoayurved.com under the FRA 2025-2026 and NCISM sections.
