Phulo Jhano Medical College and Hospital (PJMCH), Dumka – also known as Dumka Medical College or DMC Dighi Dumka – is a government medical college established in 2019 under the Department of Health, Medical Education & Family Welfare, Government of Jharkhand. Named after Phulo Jhano, a legendary tribal freedom fighter of the 1855 Santhal rebellion, the college is affiliated with Sido Kanhu Murmu University (SKMU), Dumka, and recognised by NMC with 100 MBBS seats annually. The college is spread over 25 acres of lush green campus with College, Administrative Office, and Hostel buildings. Spacious classrooms, lecture halls, examination halls, demonstration rooms, clinical laboratories, departmental museums, auditorium, digital library (with Indian & Foreign journals, separate reading space), and indoor/outdoor sports facilities are available.
