Admission Process
BAMS admissions to PPAMC are NEET-UG based and conducted by the Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell (State CET Cell), Mumbai, under the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) for Health Science courses: 85% seats are filled from the Maharashtra State Quota merit list (with constitutional and specific-category reservations, including 30% reservation for female candidates and 5% for PWD candidates), and 15% seats are filled under the Institutional/All India Quota, open to NRI, OCI, and Outside-Maharashtra-State (OMS) candidates alongside domicile candidates. Counselling proceeds through Round 1, Round 2, Round 3, and an Online CAP Stray Vacancy Round for seats remaining vacant thereafter. Candidates must register online at cetcell.mahacet.org, upload the required documents, and submit fresh preferences in every round, since previous-round preferences are nullified. The application processing fee is ₹1,000 for State Quota-only applicants, ₹5,000 for Institutional Quota-only applicants, and ₹6,000 for candidates applying to both quotas.
