Punjab Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS), Jalandhar, is a distinguished private medical college established in 1999 (with 2011 cited as year of formal full NMC recognition and clinical operations) under the PIMS Medical and Education Charitable Society, operating under a pioneering Public Private Partnership (PPP) model with the Government of Punjab's Department of Medical Education and Research (DMER).
