The institute offers the Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) programme with a sanctioned intake of 60 seats, recognized by the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM)/Ministry of AYUSH, approved by the Central Council of Indian Medicine (CCIM), and affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS), Bengaluru. RIAMS is led by Principal & Chief Medical Officer Dr. S. A.
