Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), Ranchi is a premier government autonomous medical college established in 1960 under the Government of Jharkhand. It is one of the oldest and most reputed medical institutions in the state, serving as a tertiary care teaching hospital and referral centre for the entire Jharkhand region and neighbouring states. Originally known as Rajendra Medical College, it was renamed and granted autonomous status to enhance medical education and healthcare delivery.
