10+2 / HSC with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English; minimum 50% marks (40% for SC/ST; 45% for OBC); minimum age 17 years as on December 31; valid NEET UG score; SSC from Maharashtra institution (for state quota); medically fit
Admission Process
MBBS admissions via two routes: (A) 15% All India Quota via MCC counselling (mcc.nic.in): register, fill preferences including RGMC Thane, seat allotment per NEET rank, download allotment letter, report with originals. (B) 85% Maharashtra State Quota via CET Cell Maharashtra (cetcell.mahacet.org): register after NEET results, upload documents, fill preferences, seat allotment across Rounds 1, 2, Mop-up and Stray Vacancy rounds; download allotment letter, report to college. Documents required: NEET UG admit card + scorecard, allotment letter, HSC (12th) certificate and marksheet, SSC (10th) certificate (DOB proof), domicile/nationality certificate, caste certificate + validity (if applicable), EWS certificate (if applicable), PwD certificate (if applicable), Aadhar/PAN/passport, 8 passport-size photographs, medical fitness certificate, transfer/migration/leaving certificate, gap certificate on ₹100 stamp paper (if applicable). Documents: NEET PG allotment letter, MBBS degree, all professional year marksheets, internship completion certificate, MCI/State Council registration, attempt certificate, domicile certificate, caste/EWS certificate (if applicable), employment/bond release certificate (if applicable), PAN/Aadhar, 5 photographs, medical fitness certificate.

NEET PG 2024 RGMC Thane cutoff (General AI, last round): MD Pathology = 33,686 (most competitive); MD Community Medicine = ~40,034; overall range 25,725–74,265. PG stipend: ₹50,000/month (Year 1), ₹55,000/month (Year 2), ₹60,000–₹70,000/month (Year 3) per DMER Maharashtra. Bond: 1-year compulsory service post-PG; penalty ₹50,00,000 for default. CPS Diploma admissions via College of Physicians & Surgeons (CPS), Mumbai. Advertisements published on Thane Municipal Corporation website (thanecorporation.gov.in) in the last week of June (for August–January session) and December (for February–July session) every year. 12 CPS Diploma courses offered at RGMC. Two sessions annually.

Important Notice

CPS is recognized as equivalent to MUHS PG Diploma for most purposes. 50% of government institution CPS/PG Diploma seats reserved for in-service Maharashtra/TMC government doctors.
