REC Ambedkar Nagar offers B.Tech in three branches: Information Technology (IT), Electrical Engineering (EE), and Civil Engineering (CE), each with an intake of 60 seats. The college also offers Ph.D. programmes in Physics and Chemistry.

As per Official Fee Notice Ref No. 3557/DAA/REC/2025 dated July 7, 2025: Annual fee = Institute Fee INR 40,000 + User Charges INR 12,300 = INR 52,300/year (same for all 4 years and all branches). In 1st year, additional one-time charges: Institute Caution Money INR 5,000 + Hostel Caution Money INR 1,000. Hostel fee is INR 10,000/year (hostellers only). Mess fee advance is INR 31,000 (1st year) / INR 36,000 (2nd–4th year), paid separately. Total 4-year course fee (non-hosteller, excluding caution): INR 2,09,200. University fee (AKTU Enrolment/Exam) is deposited separately.

Admission to B.Tech is through JEE Main scores followed by UPTAC counselling conducted by AKTU Lucknow. Candidates register at uptac.admissions.nic.in. Eligibility: 10+2 with PCM, minimum 45% marks (40% for SC/ST/OBC).
