MBBS admission at RDGMC Ujjain is entirely through MP State NEET UG Counselling conducted by DME Madhya Pradesh (dme.mponline.gov.in). General category candidates typically need a NEET rank within approximately 1,00,000–2,50,000 range for a realistic chance (cutoffs vary annually). SC/ST/OBC categories have lower cutoffs. After NEET qualification, candidates register on the DME MP portal, fill preferences including RDGMC, and receive seat allotment based on NEET rank and category. NRI quota (15% seats) has a separate counselling process.

Yes. Ruxmaniben Deepchand Gardi Medical College (RDGMC), Ujjain, holds the distinction of being the first private medical college established in the entire state of Madhya Pradesh. It was founded in 2001 under the Ujjain Charitable Trust Hospital and Research Centre. It was also the first college in MP to introduce PG degrees in Dermatology, Tuberculosis & Respiratory Diseases, and Psychiatry (from 2009 onwards).

RDGMC has a dual hospital setup. The C.R. Gardi Hospital on the medical college campus is an 850+ bed teaching hospital where all services are provided entirely free of cost, ensuring consistent patient footfall and clinical exposure. Super specialists are available 24×7 on campus for emergency services. Additionally, the Ujjain Charitable Trust Hospital — a 400-bed multi-specialty hospital in Ujjain city established in 1992 — provides further clinical training avenues with advanced facilities including CT Scanner and modern operation theatres. Combined hospital capacity: 1,250+ beds.

RDGMC Ujjain offers MD programs in 13 specializations and MS programs in 5 specializations — totaling 18 medical disciplines and 107 PG seats. MD specializations include General Medicine, Paediatrics, Anaesthesiology, Dermatology, Psychiatry, TB & Respiratory Diseases, Pathology, Microbiology, Pharmacology, Community Medicine, Forensic Medicine, Radiodiagnosis, Anatomy, Biochemistry, and Physiology. MS specializations include General Surgery, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Orthopaedics, Ophthalmology, and ENT. Annual PG fee is ₹13,50,000; total for 3 years = ₹40,50,000.
