Required Entrance Exams

NEET UG

Eligibility Criteria
10+2 (PCB + English) with minimum 50% marks (40% for SC/ST/OBC); minimum age 17 years; valid NEET UG score. RGUHS eligibility certificate required for students from universities outside Karnataka.
Admission Process
SIMSRC MBBS admissions are through KEA Karnataka counselling — Government quota, Management quota, and NRI quota. Both Karnataka domicile and non-Karnataka students can apply for Management and NRI quota. KEA conducts 4 rounds: Round 1, Round 2, Mop-Up, Stray Vacancy. PG (MD/MS): 50% via MCC AIQ; 50% via KEA Karnataka (State + Management Quota). SS (DM/MCh): via MCC/NBE based on NEET SS. BPT/Allied Health Sciences: merit-based via SIMSRC portal or KCET. BSc Nursing: via Karnataka Nursing CET.
