SPAMC is run by Shiva Trust, whose educational complex foundation stone was laid in 1998. The Founder President is Dr. Balasaheb S. Pawar, and the current Principal is Dr. Ashok Ramaji Ramteke. Shiva Trust also runs Pharmacy, Nursing, Polytechnic, Homoeopathic, Law, and other professional colleges under the same umbrella, with over two decades of experience in higher education.

SPAMC holds NCISM Institute Code 0721 and is affiliated with the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS), Nashik, under MUHS College Code 123124. The BAMS tuition fee for the Open/General category is INR 1,84,000 per annum (Tuition Fee INR 1,67,273 + Development Fee INR 16,727), as published on the official fees page (spamcrc.in/fees-structure). Institutional Quota seats are charged up to INR 5,52,000/year (3x base) and NRI Quota seats up to INR 9,20,000/year (5x base). Reserved-category students receive substantial Government of Maharashtra fee support that significantly reduces the amount payable out of pocket. Hostel fees are an additional INR 80,000 per annum (optional).

SPAMC has a sanctioned BAMS intake of 100 seats per academic year: 70 seats (70%) under the Maharashtra State Quota, 15 seats (15%) under the All India Quota (AIQ) via AACCC AYUSH counselling, and 15 seats (15%) under Institutional Quota. Admissions are NEET-UG based, with State and Institutional Quota seats filled through CAP rounds conducted by the Maharashtra State CET Cell.
