Shri Narayan Prasad Awasthi Government Ayurvedic College (SNPAGAC), Raipur — also known as Shree Narayan Prasad Avasthi Shaskiya Ayurveda Mahavidyalay — is one of the oldest and most reputed government Ayurvedic institutions in Chhattisgarh. Established in 1950, the college is affiliated to Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay Memorial Health Sciences and Ayush University of Chhattisgarh, Raipur, and is approved by CCIM/NCISM, AICTE, and UGC. Located at Near RK College, Ayurveda College Campus, Great Eastern Road (G.E. Road), Raipur – 492001, the institution has a rich heritage of over 75 years in Ayurvedic medical education. It is popularly known as Shri Narayan Govt Ayurved College Raipur. The college offers BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) — a 5.5-year UG program with 60 seats — along with a comprehensive range of PG programs including MD Ayurveda in 11 specializations (Kayachikitsa, Kaumarabhritya Bala Roga, Kriya Sharira, Agada Tantra, Samhita & Siddhanta, Rasashastra & Bhaishajya Kalpana, Roga Nidan avum Vikriti Vigyana, Shalya, Rachana Sharir, Swasthavritta, and Dravyaguna Vigyana), MS (Ayurveda), and 2 Certificate programs (Panchakarma Sahayaka and Pharmacist Ayurveda).
