Scholarships at Siva Sivani Institute of Management Hyderabad
Merit Scholarship by Entrance Percentile
The core award is the percentile-linked PGDM merit scholarship, applicable to candidates admitted with a valid CAT, XAT or GMAT percentile. The fact that the grid extends down to the fiftieth percentile is significant, because it means scholarship support is not restricted to a narrow band of top scorers and is available across most of the admitted cohort.
| CAT / XAT / GMAT Percentile | Scholarship Amount |
|---|---|
| 90 Percentile and above | Rs. 90,000 |
| 85 - 89.99 Percentile | Rs. 80,000 |
| 80 - 84.99 Percentile | Rs. 70,000 |
| 70 - 79.99 Percentile | Rs. 60,000 |
| 60 - 69.99 Percentile | Rs. 50,000 |
| 50 - 59.99 Percentile | Rs. 40,000 |
Special Category Scholarships
Special category awards sit alongside the merit grid. Wards of Defence personnel and ex-servicemen are eligible for Rs. 1,00,000, the highest single award published by the institute. An academic excellence award recognises consistency rather than a single entrance score: candidates scoring ninety per cent and above across Class X, Class XII and graduation receive Rs. 45,000, while those in the eighty to eighty-nine per cent band receive between Rs. 35,000 and Rs. 40,000. Children and siblings of SSIM alumni, and candidates who have studied within the Siva Sivani Educational Society group, are eligible for an additional award of up to Rs. 40,000.
Beyond institute awards, students admitted to SSIM's AICTE-approved programmes can apply for Central and Telangana State post-matric scholarship schemes through the National Scholarship Portal and the Telangana ePASS portal, subject to category and family income criteria and submission of income and caste certificates. These are independent of institute scholarships and can be claimed in addition.
SSIM also awards gold medals to top performers in each programme and cash prizes for toppers and competition winners. These are recognition awards rather than fee waivers, but they strengthen the academic record of graduating students. Candidates should declare eligibility for special category awards at the time of application, as retrospective claims are generally not entertained.
Net payable amounts after a scholarship can be worked out from the fee structure page.
