Admission Process at Siva Sivani Institute of Management Hyderabad

The eligibility requirement for all three PGDM programmes is a bachelor's degree of at least three years' duration in any discipline from a recognised university with a minimum of fifty per cent aggregate marks. Candidates in their final semester or final year are permitted to apply, provided they meet the requirement at the time of joining. Applicants must hold a valid score in one of the accepted entrance examinations: CAT, XAT, CMAT, MAT, ATMA, GMAT, TS ICET or any other State Government management entrance test. This wide acceptance means candidates who have not written CAT are not excluded, which is a practical advantage for working professionals and late applicants.

The selection process is deliberately profile-based rather than score-driven. Because the institute weighs academics, communication and motivation alongside the test score, candidates with a moderate percentile but a strong overall profile remain competitive. Applications typically open around September and October, deadlines fall between March and May, GD-PI rounds run from January through May, and the programme commences in June or July. Exact dates are notified each cycle by the institute.

Doctoral admission to FPM and EFPM runs on a separate track through a dedicated fellowship application form, requiring a Master's degree with at least sixty per cent marks, a valid UGC-NET score or the institute's research aptitude test, a written research proposal and an interview with the doctoral committee. Seats for both programmes are limited and notified with each admission cycle.
