NEET UG

Eligibility Criteria
10+2 with PCB and English; 50% marks (General/OBC); 40% (SC/ST/VJ/NT/SBC); minimum age 17 years as on 31 December of admission year; valid NEET UG score. Maharashtra domicile required for state quota.
Admission Process
CET Cell Maharashtra (MahaCET) state counselling for 85% State Quota seats (Maharashtra domicile mandatory). MCC All India Quota counselling for 15% AIQ seats (open to all India candidates). Candidates register online, fill preferences, and report to college upon allotment. Multiple rounds: Round 1, Round 2, Round 3, Mop-Up, and Stray Vacancy Round.

Important Notice

Maharashtra State Ranking: 47. During NEET 2021–2024 counselling, 23 candidates got AIQ allotment at SMBT. 2024 General (GN-W) opening cutoff marks: 613. 2023 opening cutoff: 544. Non-domicile candidates cannot apply under Open category in private Maharashtra colleges — only AIQ or NRI quota.

50% PG seats via MCC All India Quota Deemed/State counselling; 50% via CET Cell Maharashtra State Quota counselling. State domicile candidates with MBBS from Maharashtra eligible for state quota. Candidates register at cetcell.mahacet.org.

Important Notice

PG stipend details to be verified with institution. Compulsory rural/government service bond applicable post-PG completion as per Maharashtra government norms.
