About Sri Sri University
Sri Sri University (SSU) is a private state university located at Sri Sri Vihar, Ward No. 3, Godi Sahi, Bidyadharpur, on the Cuttack-Sambalpur Road in Cuttack, Odisha. Established on 26th December 2009 through an Act of the Odisha state legislature and founded by spiritual leader Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, the university became operational in 2012 after clearing a High Power Committee scrutiny of its infrastructure, academic, regulatory, financial and manpower preparedness, as notified in an extraordinary issue of the Government of Odisha Gazette. The university spans a 188-acre campus and is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC), approved by AICTE for its technical and management programmes, and holds membership of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
