Sushant University, formerly known as Ansal University, is a private university established in 2012 under the Haryana Private Universities Act 2006, managed by the Chiranjiv Charitable Trust — active in higher education since 1989. Located on Golf Course Road, Sector 55, Gurugram — India's largest hub of Fortune 500 companies — the university operates an approximately 14-acre campus. It runs eight schools: Sushant School of Art & Architecture (established 1989, consistently ranked #1 Private Architecture School in India by Outlook Magazine), School of Engineering & Technology, Sushant School of Business, School of Law, Vatel Hotel & Tourism Business School, Sushant School of Design, School of Health Sciences, and the Department of Planning, Art & Research. Yes. Ansal University was officially rebranded as Sushant University. All existing accreditations and recognitions from UGC, BCI, CoA, AICTE, and PCI remain valid under the new name. Both campuses (former Ansal University and Ansal University Campus 2) now operate as Sushant University.
Sushant University is best known for its Sushant School of Art & Architecture (SAA), consistently ranked #1 private architecture school in India by Outlook Magazine. It is also ranked 4th for Best Emerging Business School by Times of India B-School Survey.
B.Tech admission requires a valid JEE Main score or SUEE (Sushant University Entrance Exam), followed by a Personal Interview (PI) round.
The total B.Tech fee is INR 10.52 Lakhs for 4 years (CSE/IT). For ECE, Civil, and Mechanical Engineering, the total fee is INR 9.35 Lakhs for 4 years. B.Arch total fee is approximately INR 26.01 Lakhs for 5 years.
