Courses Offered at The Oxford College of Business Management
BBA and B.Com (Undergraduate)
The three-year BBA runs for six semesters with 240 sanctioned seats. It focuses on connecting experiential learning with managerial expertise and offers electives in Data Analytics, Human Resource, Marketing and Retail Management. The department also organises certificate courses, webinars and conferences so that students understand corporate expectations and build leadership skills. The three-year B.Com has 300 seats and builds competencies in accounting, taxation, finance, marketing and information systems, with seminars, guest lectures and training that prepare students for the commerce and corporate environment. Both programmes are open to candidates who have passed Class XII or PUC in any stream and meet the minimum cut-off criteria.
MBA (Postgraduate)
The two-year, four-semester MBA has 180 seats and is described as an industry-integrated programme. Specializations include Business Analytics, Banking, Finance and Insurance Services (BFIS), Finance, Human Resource, Health Care Management, Logistics & Supply Chain Management, Marketing and Start-Ups & SMEs Management. After the second semester, students complete an industrial training project of eight to ten weeks under the guidance of a faculty or industry mentor and submit a project report. A 12-credit dissertation starts in the third semester and is equal to two elective courses, so students are encouraged to choose a topic in their own area of specialization.
M.Com and PGDHA (Postgraduate)
The two-year M.Com has 60 seats and offers Finance & Banking and Accounting & Taxation. It emphasises practical skills in taxation and accounting, experiential learning, industrial visits, guest lectures and certification courses. The one-year PGDHA has 40 seats and covers four core papers (Management Process, Organizational Behaviour and Development, Business Ethics/Human Values and Organizational Communication) and four specialization papers on healthcare environment, hospital operations, accounting and finance for healthcare, and marketing of healthcare services. Practical exposure is arranged at The Oxford Medical College and Hospital, Attibele.
