About The Oxford Medical College, Hospital & Research Centre

The Oxford Medical College, Hospital & Research Centre (OMCHRC), commonly known as Oxford Medical College Bangalore, is a reputed private medical college established in 2013 under the Children's Education Society, founded by Sri S. Narasa Raju. The institution operates under The Oxford Educational Institutions — a group renowned for excellence in higher education — and is currently led by Chairman Sri S.N.V.L. Narasimha Raju. Located at Yadavanahalli, Attibele Hobli, Anekal Taluk, along NH-7 (Bengaluru–Chennai Highway), it lies approximately 25 km from central Bengaluru towards Hosur, along the IT and industrial corridor. The campus spans 35 acres and houses a 1,115-bed multi-specialty teaching hospital (695 teaching beds + 75 non-teaching + additional functional beds) offering advanced healthcare services, alongside a modern academic block. OMCHRC is affiliated to RGUHS and approved by NMC, and its hospital is accredited by both NABH and NABL. The college offers MBBS (150 seats), MD/MS/Diploma PG programs across 20+ specializations, and B.Sc. Allied Health Sciences programs. A 5th Graduation Day was held on 27 March 2025, with academic awards distributed. OMCHRC secured 100% results in the Final Year MBBS Examination, is ranked 9th among Private Medical Colleges by Outlook iCARE India University Rankings 2024, and is in the top 30 private medical colleges in Karnataka. The hospital provides free medical services to rural communities around Attibele through the Community Medicine Department, and students engage in active ICMR research projects.
