Below is the complete admission information including eligible exams, eligibility criteria, admission process, and important notes for each program offered.

Required Entrance Exams

NEET UG

Eligibility Criteria
10+2 with PCB and English; minimum 50% marks (40% for SC/ST); minimum age 17 years as of December 31; NEET UG qualified; Indian citizens only (NRI quota open to foreign nationals, NRI/OCI/PIO)
Admission Process
Step 1: Qualify NEET UG. Step 2: Register at KEA portal (cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea) using NEET UG details; generate User ID and password. Registration fee: ₹750–₹5,000 depending on category. Step 3: Receive Secret Key after eligibility confirmation for Karnataka State Quota account activation. Step 4: Document verification in-person at KEA centres (Karnataka domicile) or online (non-Karnataka). Step 5: Fill and lock college choices. Step 6: Seat allotment in up to 3 rounds (Rounds 1, 2, and Mop-up). Important: KEA does NOT allow fresh option entry after Round 1 results — only reshuffling permitted in Round 2. Caution deposit of ₹1,00,000 required from Round 2 participation. Step 7: Report to OMCHRC with original documents and pay admission fees.

Important Notice

Required documents: NEET UG Score Card and Admit Card, 10th and 12th Marks Cards and Pass Certificates, Transfer/Leaving Certificate, Migration Certificate, Domicile Certificate (if applicable), Caste/Category Certificate (if applicable), Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, KEA Allotment Letter, minimum 8 passport photographs. For NRI quota: additionally Passport, Work Permit, NRI School Certificate, RBI Inward Remittance Certificate, RGUHS Eligibility Certificate. Karnataka domicile (7+ years study, Class 1–12) mandatory for State Quota. Mother tongue must be Kannada, Tulu, or Kodava (or pass KEA language test). 8% horizontal reservation for HK region (Article 371J). Compulsory rural service bond required post-MBBS; skipping service incurs penalty bond payable before medical council registration or PG admission.
