USCET offers B.Tech (Chemical Engineering) – 4 years, M.Tech (Chemical Engineering) – 2 years (GATE-based), and PhD programs. A new B.Tech in Industrial Chemistry is expected to be introduced from AY 2026-27. All B.Tech admissions are through JEE Main scores via GGSIPU centralized counselling.

In 2024, the General category closing rank for B.Tech Chemical Engineering at GGSIPU (Home State Delhi) was approximately 2,09,327. The overall last-round closing rank across all categories was 3,24,891. This is one of the least competitive branches at GGSIPU, making it accessible for JEE ranks in the 1–3.5 lakh range.

Total B.Tech (4 years) fee is approximately Rs. 6.67–8.51 lakhs. Annual fee ~Rs. 1.41 lakhs tuition + university fees Rs. 15,000 + security Rs. 5,000 (one-time, refundable) in Year 1. Fee increases by ~Rs. 20,000 per year. Hostel is Rs. 68,500 per year extra.

Graduates pursue roles in petroleum refining (IOC, HPCL, BPCL), chemical manufacturing (Reliance, Tata Chemicals), pharma (Sun Pharma, Dr. Reddy's), fertilizer industry (NFL, RCF), and process industries. PSU roles via GATE are a major avenue. Many pursue M.Tech (GATE) at IITs or MBA for management roles. Government PSUs offer INR 10–15 LPA starting salaries.
