It is run by the Rohilkhand Educational Charitable Trust and is affiliated with Varun Arjun University, Shahjahanpur. The college is recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC) and its attached teaching hospital — Rohilkhand Hospital — is NABH accredited. Located on NH-24 (Delhi–Lucknow Highway), the college is approximately 160 km from Lucknow, 320 km from Delhi, and 80 km from Bareilly Airport, making it well-connected to major cities. The campus is spread across 35 acres in a lush, pollution-free environment. The college is run by an award-winning team of highly qualified doctors of repute and is part of the larger Varun Arjun University ecosystem that also includes colleges of Pharmacy, Nursing, Paramedical Sciences, Commerce & Management, and Forensic Sciences. The campus is spread over 35 acres on NH-24 (Delhi–Lucknow Highway) in Village Banthra, Shahjahanpur — providing a lush, pollution-free, and modern learning and healthcare environment. The campus houses the main academic block, Rohilkhand Hospital (teaching hospital), doctor and staff quarters, resident doctor hostel, separate boys and girls hostels, playground, and all support facilities.
Classrooms & Lecture Theatres
The main academic block is a 3-storeyed building with a covered area of more than 6,00,000 sq. ft. It houses spacious, gallery-type, technology-infused lecture halls in both the college and hospital, examination halls, common rooms for boys and girls, and demonstration rooms. All lecture halls are equipped with audio-visual aids and ICT-based teaching tools to support the NMC-mandated Competency-Based Medical Education (CBME) framework.
Central Library
A well-stocked library with a comprehensive collection of MBBS and PG-level medical textbooks, national and international journals, digital e-resources, and a digital library section. The library caters to all years of MBBS and PG students. Research publications by faculty are actively supported.
Laboratory
All clinical and non-clinical departments are fully equipped with modern laboratories meeting NMC standards. Departmental museums with specimen displays are available across pre-clinical and para-clinical departments (Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pathology, Microbiology, Pharmacology, Forensic Medicine). Clinical Skill Lab supports hands-on procedural training.
