Eligibility Criteria
10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as core subjects in Classes 11 and 12 from a recognised board; valid NEET (UG) score; minimum 50% PCB aggregate (UR), 40% (OBC/SC/ST), 45% (PWD-UR), 40% (PWD Reserved); minimum age 17 years as on 31 December of admission year; maximum age 45 years; Indian Nationals, NRIs, OCIs, PIOs & Foreign Nationals as per NEET eligibility; no limit on number of NEET attempts.
Admission Process
Qualify NEET (UG) → Register with Maharashtra State CET Cell (85% State Quota) or AACCC (15% All India Quota) → Document verification → Choice filling, listing Vasantdada Patil Ayurvedic Medical College & Institute of Yoga, Sangli → Seat allotment by NEET rank/category/seat availability across CAP rounds → Report to college at Ayurvedic Medical College Chowk, Sangli-Miraj Road, South Shivajinagar, Sangli — 416416 with original documents → Pay prescribed fee per FRC guidelines and complete enrolment. BAMS Admission Process: Centralized Maharashtra CET Cell Counselling
- Qualify NEET-UG: Candidates must clear the NTA NEET-UG exam with the qualifying percentile.
- State Quota (85%): Eligible candidates must register with the Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell (CET Cell / DMER) for Ayush NEET Counselling.
- All India Quota (15%): Candidates opt for the AACCC counselling process for AIQ seats.
- Choice Filling & Allotment: During counselling, select 'Vasantdada Patil Ayurvedic Medical College' as a preference. Seats are allotted based on rank and category.
