HP NEET UG 2026 2nd Stray Round Merit List Released: Check MBBS, BDS Ranks & Seat Allotment Updates

Atal Medical and Research University (AMRU), Himachal Pradesh, released the merit list for the 2nd stray round of MBBS and BDS counselling on Nov. 6, according to a notice from its Common Centralized and Prospectus Review Committee. The PDF is available through the university website, amruhp.ac.in.

The list ranks 2,003 candidates. It is not a seat allotment, and it does not confirm admission to any college.

What AMRU Announced

The notice, numbered AMRU/COE-Admission-120/2026-27 (MBBS/BDS)-6962 and dated Nov. 6, 2026, carries an 'Urgent Attention' label. It says the merit list is system generated and was prepared from data available in the system.

Merit List at a Glance

• Released: Nov. 6, 2026, by AMRU Himachal Pradesh.
• Round: 2nd stray round, MBBS/BDS counselling 2026.
• Candidates ranked: 2,003, numbered in merit order from 1 to 2,003.
• Top of the list: a NEET score of 663 and an all-India rank of 756.
• Last on the list: a NEET score of 177 and an all-India rank of 1,194,105.
• Format: one table, headed MBBS. The PDF has no separate BDS table.

Quota and Category Details

The list shows each candidate's admission quota, reservation category, all-India rank, NEET roll number and NEET score. A count of the entries in the PDF gives this split by quota:

The 'Category Reservation' column groups the same candidates as follows:

These counts come from a tally of the PDF, not from the notice. Check your own row for the final quota and category entry.

How to Check the Merit List PDF

1. Go to amruhp.ac.in.
2. Open the Counselling Notifications page.
3. Find the notice dated Nov. 6, 2026, on the MBBS/BDS 2nd stray round merit list.
4. Open the PDF and press Ctrl+F (or use the search option on your phone).
5. Search by application number, NEET roll number or name.
6. Check your merit number, quota, category, all-India rank and NEET score against your records.

Merit List Is Not Seat Allotment

The notice says a provisional allotment of a seat, if any, does not give a candidate any right of admission. Final eligibility and category claims remain subject to verification and approval by the Admission Committee of the institute concerned.

It also says admission will not be considered without a seat allocation by AMRU.

Certificates and Document Verification

The notice tells candidates who claim a reserved category or quota to make sure every certificate is valid, updated and in the format set out in the Prospectus. Candidates should fix or replace documents before the admission process begins.

A discrepancy, an outdated or invalid certificate, or a missing document means the candidate cannot claim the benefit of that category or quota, the notice says. It does not list the documents; the Prospectus does.

What Candidates Should Do Next

1. Confirm your name, rank, quota and category in the PDF.
2. Check every reservation certificate against the Prospectus format.
3. Wait for AMRU to declare the final seat allotment.
4. Download the provisional allotment letter from your candidate login.
5. Approach the allotted college only after both steps above.

The notice advises candidates to go to a college only after final seat allotment is declared and the provisional allotment letter is downloaded.

Not Confirmed in the Notice

• Dates for choice filling, seat allotment and reporting.
• Seat matrix and vacant seats for MBBS and BDS.
• Closing ranks or cutoffs for any college.
• Eligibility rules for the 2nd stray round.
• How AMRU will handle errors in the system-generated list.

Watch the Counselling Notifications page for the next notice.
