How This Round Works
This round differs from a regular allotment round. The schedule mentions no allotment result. Selection is by attendance-cum-merit: candidates mark online attendance at a college, and a real-time merit list is shown on the portal.
- Candidates may log online attendance in only one college for this round, as per their filled choices.
- To do this, candidates must physically report to the college of interest.
- They must also report to the government nodal officer appointed by DME for logging online attendance.
Step-by-Step Plan for Candidates
- On November 11, check the vacancy list and the eligible candidates list on the official MP DME counselling portal.
- From 2:00 PM on November 11, fill your choices against the vacancies before 11:59 PM on November 12.
- Check the college-wise real-time merit list on the portal.
- On November 13, between 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM, report to your chosen college and log online attendance.
- On November 16, between 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM, complete admission if selected.
Vacant Seats and Cutoffs
The vacant seat list will be published on November 11, so no seat counts are available yet. Because selection is by attendance-cum-merit, there are no category-wise cutoffs until the real-time merit lists and final selections appear. Do not trust seat numbers from unofficial sources.
