Atal Medical and Research University (AMRU), Himachal Pradesh, has released the counselling schedule for the stray round of MBBS/BDS counselling 2026-27. As per the notice dated October 19, 2026, the fresh online application window opens today and closes on October 21 at 12:00 noon, so candidates have only three days to register.
The stray round is held to fill seats left after Round 3, and AMRU has said that any change in the schedule will be uploaded on its website.

The notice is numbered AMRU/(COE)-Admission-120/2026-27 (MBBS/BDS) and was issued by the Controller of Examinations, AMRU.
How to Apply
- Open the AMRU website and go to the counselling section
- Fill the fresh online counselling application form before 12:00 noon on October 21
- Check the stray round merit list and vacancy position on October 21
- Fill and lock choices of course, college and quota by 3:00 PM on October 22
- Check provisional allocation on October 23 and final allocation on October 24
- Join the allotted college and course on October 26
Keep the NEET UG 2026 scorecard, certificates and Himachal domicile or category proofs ready. Read the MBBS/BDS prospectus for token amount, forfeiture and joining rules before paying.
Things to Remember
- Himachal Pradesh holds a single centralised stray round and no institutional mop-up round, as per the AMRU prospectus
- A candidate who holds a seat on the MCC portal on the day of stray round allocation is not considered for a Himachal seat that day
- Choice locking closes at 3:00 PM on October 22, so avoid waiting for the last hour
- Pay fees only through the official AMRU portal
