JAC Delhi 2026 Round 3 Seat Allotment Result Out Today
The Joint Admission Committee (JAC) Delhi has released the Round 3 seat allotment result for 2026 today, July 7, on the official website, jacdelhi.admissions.nic.in. Candidates who registered and completed choice filling can now log in using their JEE Main 2026 application number and password to check their allotted institute, programme, and category, and download their provisional seat allotment letter. Seat distribution across all five participating institutes, DTU, NSUT, IIIT-Delhi, IGDTUW, and DSEU, has been carried out based on candidates' JEE Main 2026 ranks, choices filled, and seat availability.
Candidates who had opted for Float or Slide in Round 2 have been considered for possible upgradation to a better institute or branch in this round, based on their rank and vacated seats. Along with the seat allotment, JAC Delhi is also expected to release the Round 3 cutoff, shown as institute-wise and category-wise opening and closing ranks, on the official portal.

What to Do After the Round 3 Seat Allotment
Candidates allotted a seat in Round 3 must decide whether the seat is acceptable or whether they wish to continue trying for a better allotment in the remaining rounds. Based on the decision, candidates need to submit the relevant willingness option through their login and complete the associated formalities within the given deadline.
- Freeze: Candidates satisfied with their Round 3 allotment can choose to freeze the seat, confirming it as their final admission and exiting the counselling process.
- Float: Candidates can accept the current seat while remaining eligible for an upgrade to a higher-preference institute or branch in Round 4.
- Slide: Candidates can stay at the same institute while remaining open to a different branch within it in later rounds.
- Withdraw: Candidates unwilling to continue with any allotment can withdraw online through their JAC Delhi login until July 12, 2026, 10:30 PM, and receive a refund of the seat acceptance fee as per the official refund policy.
Candidates who have already completed document verification and received their provisional admission letter in an earlier round do not need to report again if their allotment remains unchanged. However, those who get upgraded to a new institute in Round 3 are not required to report separately for verification at the new institute either, as per JAC Delhi's current process; only candidates whose seats are cancelled due to document deficiency and who are allotted a fresh seat need to report afresh. The seat acceptance fee payment window for this round closes at 2:00 PM on the last day of physical reporting, and candidates who fail to pay the fee or complete the required formalities within the deadline will have their admission cancelled.

JAC Delhi 2026: About the Counselling Process
JAC Delhi conducts centralised online counselling for admission to B.Tech and B.Arch programmes at five government-funded technical institutions in Delhi, based entirely on candidates' JEE Main 2026 ranks. The process is being carried out across four regular rounds, followed by an upgradation round and an online spot round if seats remain vacant thereafter. With DSEU rejoining the JAC Delhi process this year after conducting independent admissions in 2025, the total number of seats on offer across all participating institutes has increased to approximately 7,855 for the 2026-27 session, up from 6,491 seats in the previous year.
