Reporting Process and Mandatory Documents
Provisionally selected candidates must report physically to their allotted institution with original documents between November 4 at 2 PM and November 7 at 4:30 PM, subject to any revised selection notice. Institutions have been instructed to keep admission counters open on holidays. Every admission must be completed through the JKBOPEE online admission portal; offline admissions are not accepted. After joining, candidates should obtain a joining certificate and verify their joining status online.
- MBBS degree, NEET PG 2026 scorecard, internship completion certificate (up to September 30, 2026) and medical council registration.
- J&K or Ladakh domicile evidence and valid reserved-category, EWS or difficult-area certificates wherever applicable.
- NMC/MCI clearance for overseas MBBS qualifications, in-service NOC where required, and prescribed service bond for Ladakh candidates.
- Any additional originals, undertakings and college-specific documents requested by the allotted institution.
Fees, Allotment Rules and Important Cautions
The November 3 notification does not publish a universal tuition fee or college-wise payment amount. Selected candidates should contact their allotted college directly to confirm the applicable fee and payment procedure before the reporting deadline. JKBOPEE will verify eligibility and documents, particularly category certificates, and may cancel provisional admissions based on incorrect information.
Failure to join by November 7 at 4:30 PM cancels the allotted seat and ends the claim to it. Admission cancellation requests, where applicable, must also be submitted by that reporting deadline. A candidate allotted a particular college and discipline in Round 1 cannot select that identical combination in Round 2 after joining, non-joining or cancellation; separate ASCOMS category restrictions also apply.
JKBOPEE separately clarifies that the GMC Kathua UT-quota seat matrix was corrected from 13 seats to nine; the 13-seat figure belonged to the All India Quota. The authority did not reopen choice filling for this correction. Candidates must rely on the latest official notifications and their own allotment letters for any changes.
