As per the official notice, the result shows each candidate's raw score and rank. The individual scorecard, which carries the score and All India Rank, will be available on the NBEMS website on or after October 1, 2026, and will stay online for six months from the date of issue. Requests for scorecards after that window will not be entertained, so candidates should download and save their copy as soon as it opens.

How to Check NEET PG Result 2026 and Your Rank
- Step 1: Go to the official NBEMS website, natboard.edu.in, and open the NEET PG 2026 section.
- Step 2: Click the link for the NEET PG 2026 result.
- Step 3: Follow the on-screen prompt. Depending on the page, you will either see a result PDF listing roll numbers or be asked to log in with your application ID and password.
- Step 4: Search your roll number in the PDF (Ctrl+F works) and note your score and rank.
- Step 5: From October 1, log in again to download your individual scorecard.

Background: The 2026 Exam and the Jaipur Re-Test
NEET PG 2026 was conducted on August 30, 2026, in a single shift and in computer-based mode. The paper carried 180 multiple-choice questions worth 720 marks, with four marks for every correct answer and one mark deducted for every wrong answer. An internal power failure at two iON Digital Zone centres in Sitapura, Jaipur, stopped the exam for 2,445 candidates, and NBEMS held a re-exam for them on September 5. Expert Analysis: Reading the Cutoff Carefully
The marking scheme has changed, so this year's cutoff cannot be compared with earlier years in raw numbers. Previous cycles were out of 800 marks, and the published 2025 cutoffs were 276 for General/EWS, 255 for General PwBD and 235 for SC/ST/OBC. By our own calculation, the General/EWS cutoff of 262 out of 720 works out to about 36.4% of the maximum marks, compared with about 34.5% for 276 out of 800. The gap is small, and it is the percentile, not the raw score, that defines qualification. Candidates should judge their chances by rank and earlier closing ranks, not by matching marks against previous years.

MCC has not yet released the NEET PG 2026 counselling schedule; its PG counselling page, last updated on September 23, listed no dates for this cycle. Treat any date circulating online as unconfirmed until it appears on mcc.nic.in. All India Quota counselling is usually held in four stages: Round 1, Round 2, Round 3 and a stray vacancy round, each with registration, choice filling, locking, allotment and reporting.
