The Government of West Bengal has issued a tentative revised schedule dated November 4, 2026, for WB NEET UG 2026 Special Stray Round MBBS counselling and Round 5 BDS counselling. The timetable covers state-quota and private-management-quota seats and specifies separate deadlines for online registration, payment, document verification, choice filling, allotment and reporting. According to the revised notice, NEET UG 2026-qualified candidates can register until November 5 at 8:00 PM, while online fee payment remains available until midnight on November 5. Candidates should follow these revised timings rather than an earlier version of the schedule.

Registration and payment are not the same deadline: the online application window closes at 8:00 PM on November 5, but the notice allows fee payment until 12 midnight that day. Candidates must verify that their registration and transaction are completed successfully. All clock times above are taken from the uploaded revised notice, which specifies server time for applicable stages. The schedule is tentative and may be updated by the counselling authority.

Document Verification and Seat Matrix Publication

After successful registration and payment, candidates must attend verification at the college and time slot designated by the counselling software on November 4, 5 or 6 between 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM. This verification stage is stated as not applicable to NRI candidates; the notice directs NRI applicants to Point No. 3 of the relevant notice for additional information. Applicants should therefore check their own dashboard and the separate NRI instructions instead of assuming the standard verification process applies to them.

The list of successfully verified candidates and the seat matrix for the MBBS special stray round and BDS Round 5 are scheduled for publication on November 6 after 5:00 PM. The revised schedule does not provide college-wise vacancy numbers. Check the official matrix when released to understand available courses, institutes and quotas before choosing preferences. A vacancy shown in a tentative matrix does not itself guarantee allotment.

How to Fill and Lock MBBS, BDS Choices

Verified candidates whose names appear on the published list can fill and lock their college and course preferences from November 6 at 6:00 PM until November 7 at 2:00 PM. Log in through the official West Bengal Medical Counselling Committee (WBMCC) UG counselling service, review eligible seat options and enter choices in your genuine order of preference. Consider college location, tuition fees, quota, seat conditions and any service bond before locking the list. Save proof of the choices submitted and confirm that the portal reflects a successful lock before the deadline.

Seat Allotment, Reporting and Admission

WBMCC has scheduled publication of the MBBS Special Stray and BDS Round 5 allotment result for November 12 after 2:00 PM. Candidates should check the result through official counselling channels and follow the allotment instructions for downloading required documents. The notice schedules reporting and admission on November 13, 14 and 16 between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM. These are three specified reporting dates, not a continuous November 13–16 window.

Allotted candidates must bring the required original documents, pay the applicable college fees and provide any required bond. The notice says admission for private medical colleges will be processed at designated government medical colleges in Kolkata under a separate published notice. For private dental colleges, processing is at Dr. R. Ahmed Dental College. Successful physical re-verification is required before a candidate can be admitted to the allotted college. The uploaded schedule does not give a universal fee amount or list every document; candidates should consult their allotment instructions.

Eligibility and Important Advice for Candidates

This counselling activity is for NEET UG 2026-qualified applicants, but qualification alone does not establish eligibility for a particular seat or round. WBMCC may apply round-specific participation and exclusion conditions. Read the current information bulletin and special stray notices carefully, especially if you previously received an allotment or joined a seat. The official portal also carries updates about who may participate. Do not use an older registration timetable or an unofficial message to decide whether you may apply.

Candidates should regularly visit the official WBMCC UG Medical and Dental counselling pages for any corrections, the verified-candidate list, seat matrix, allotment and reporting instructions. Because the November 4 document is explicitly described as a tentative revised schedule, a subsequent official notice may supersede it. Keep registration acknowledgements, payment records and choice-submission details safe, and resolve discrepancies through the official counselling channels promptly.
